Treatment Options:
All of the treatments we offer for varicose veins are done in the office under local anesthesia. Most patients will require a combination of the treatments listed below for optimal results.
- VenaSeal and Endovenous Radiofrequency Ablation are used in treating long and straight veins, known as treating the long prolonged, and consecutive veins, known as the saphenous veins. VenaSmedical-grade cal grade medical-grade sealant, while Endovenous Radiofrequency Ablation uses heat. Both are safe and effective treatments used to close the saphenous veins.
- Ambulatory phlebectomy is a solution that removes large bulging superficial varicose veins. Tiny incisions are all needed to remove damaged tissue and restore healthier blood flow. The treatment is done under local anesthesia, and no stitches are required.
- Ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy involves visualizing the varicose vein with ultrasound and injecting it with a solution that closes varicose veins. We use both Polidocanol and Sotradecol.
