NEW VEIN PATIENT
Scheduling a New Vein Patient visit is the first step in the treatment process. At this visit, we will complete a medical history, physical exam, and ultrasound of both legs. From here, the patient will meet same day with one of our providers where we will create a treatment plan that is specific to the patient’s exam findings and concerns
Your New Vein Patient visit is very similar to visiting your primary care provider. You will be asked to complete paperwork when you come in, and we will collect your insurance information. This New Vein Patient visit will be billed through your insurance company. During your New Vein Patient visit, we will review your medical history and the symptoms you are experiencing. We will perform an ultrasound exam to assess the veins in your legs. Based on the findings of this ultrasound exam, we will develop a personalized treatment plan for you. Our insurance specialist will communicate with your insurance company before treatment to ensure you are in-network.
We will discuss these findings with you, potential treatments available, and their positive impact on your health and well-being. Once we have a treatment plan, our insurance specialist will send and communicate with your insurance company to receive prior authorization to ensure that your benefits cover the treatment. Costs: The patient will be responsible for co-pays, deductibles, or co-insurance. We have an insurance specialist to help our patients. If you have any concerns regarding insurance coverage, such as high deductible plans, cost-sharing, or if we are in-network, please contact us directly.
