Advanced Practice Esthetician

Becky is an Advanced Practice Esthetician who has worked in the med spa industry since 2011. As a personal trainer as well, she loves to teach people about health benefits and the art of skin care. After going to school for business management and becoming a cosmetologist, she obtained her salon manager’s license. However, she always had a passion for skin care, beauty, and makeup in a medical spa setting, which led her to obtaining her advanced practice esthetician’s license.

Caitlyn Spiess

Aesthetictian

After attending the University of Cincinnati, Caitlyn decided to pursue a career in aesthetics. She attended the Aveda Institute of Minneapolis, where she became a licensed esthetician. After working in the industry with todays top technologies Caitlyn went on to become an Advanced Practice Esthetician. She loves the variety that her work brings every day. Her top priority is to make our clients feel comfortable, educated and at ease about the treatments we provide.

Connie Scott

Patient Care Coordinator

Connie is our Patient Care Coordinator and also Medical Receptionist. She started working at Metro Vein Clinic / Afzal Clinics in 2013 and recently returned after an 11 month break. She brings many years of knowledge of insurance billing and receivables including many years at an infertility clinic, as well as veins and durable medical equipment.

Dr. Afzal is considered a regional expert in vein disease care having performed more than 3000 ablations and 120,000 injections.Dr. Afzal is the regional trainer for Covidien, providing training on radiofrequency ablation, also known as the Venefit procedure. He is also a regional trainer for Vascular Solutions, a company that specializes in the development of medical devices for the vascular field, providing training on endovenous laser ablation, also known as EVLA, Laser and EVLT. He is the only vein doctor in Minnesota who holds this distinction.

Natalie, BA, RVT

Vascular Technologist

Natalie earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Minnesota in 2008. In 2010, she decided to pursue an additional degree, focusing on the healthcare field. She completed her Associate of Applied Science degree in vascular diagnostic medical sonography in early 2013, and shortly thereafter earned her registered vascular technologist credential.

Linda

Director Of Operations

Linda is the director of operations for Metro Vein Clinic. She has a wealth of experience in various aspects of management, customer service, business and administrative functions, purchasing and project management. Linda draws her experience primarily from the health care field, where she successfully managed clinic and office functions and handled purchasing for a few different medical groups.

Brielle is a registered nurse who earned her bachelor’s in nursing from Bethel University. She has been with Afzal Clinic since 2011. Brielle’s personal approach to aesthetics is to enhance a patient’s natural beauty and uniqueness whether it’s by the removal of spider veins, restoring volume loss by dermal fillers or minimizing the effects of aging with neurotoxins and or lasers. “The best part about my job, is getting to know the patient’s and to be able to make a difference in their lives.”
